The
Willard Middle School PTA invites you to
GET INVOLVED!
We invite all families to
join the Willard Middle School Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Studies
of parent involvement overwhelmingly confirm that it has a positive
effect on children's well-being and academic achievement.
Parent involvement and commitment also benefit teachers, schools,
communities and the parents themselves. Our goal is to have
every member of our school community participate in the PTA.
It can be for as little as one hour, or as much as you are
able to give to your community. Thanks.
- JOIN the PTA
Membership in the Willard Middle School PTA costs $5.00 per person per year.
However, we gladly will accept contributions in excess of the membership fee,
and encourage you to contribute more if you can (PTA dues are tax
deductible as allowed by law).
- ATTEND PTA
meetings
General PTA meetings are held monthly on rotating days of
the week, to coincide with other school events and to
accommodate parents' different schedules. Please check the etree,
newsletter, or this web site for announcements of
upcoming meetings.

mailed home each month (more or less) during the school year.

Supporting
the PTA, Supporting Our School
We invite
all families to become involved with the Willard PTA
as volunteers. If you are interested in taking
an active role, join us at one of our monthly
meetings or look for announcements about volunteer
opportunities.
The activities
of Willard's PTA -- staff appreciation, teacher stipends, grants,
student events and programs, production and distribution of the
PTA newsletter -- requires not only volunteer time, but financial
resources as well. We urge you to help the PTA enhance the
education of all Willard students by contributing generously.
