Willard PTA Meeting Highlights September 18, 2006 Guest speakers for and against Measure A made their case. The PE Program is off to a good start with strong participation by students, greater resources for equipment, and stricter policies and procedures to create smoother transitions to/from class. The After School Program is also going well, and Mr. Church commented on details of the sports programs underway and planned for this year. Election of this year's PTA officers and board members took place, and requests for more help were made, especially for Webmaster, child care, hospitality, parent resource center, room parents, and directory data entry. Principal Itherburn presented a quick budget overview of funding at Willard. A few more parents are needed to sell tickets and chaperone at the 7th/8th grade dance on Sept. 29. Contact Dana Hughes or the school office if you can help. October 26 will be School Science Night for parents and kids. More info soon!
